The Well Delivery Process and Well Management System are proven methods to deliver wells, improve value and performance while reducing cost.
- A Well Delivery Process defines a set of activities along a time line to plan, execute and close out the drilling and completion of a well or series of wells.
- A Well Management System defines the policies, procedures and technical standards related to drilling, completions, well testing, well integrity, well intervention and abandonment operations and associated engineering for the whole life cycle of a well or field.
The delivery process and management system by WEP integrates best practices into clients’ current processes and systems including advanced versions of tools and techniques that create robust plans, policies and procedures, risk and uncertainty management, technical limit focus and stretch goals, probabilistic time and cost estimating, detailed scheduling, and drill or abandon the well on paper exercises. Stage milestones are included that provide review points which are usually matched to a corporate system, set of drilling regulatory documents and standards or well delivery process.
