Well Engineering Partners Acquires Geothermal Operations Services from Sproule ERCE (Veegeo), Allowing WEP to Expand Its Market Share in Geothermal Production Support and Sproule ERCE to Maintain Its Strong Focus on Geothermal Advisory
As of 1 January 2026, Well Engineering Partners (WEP) has acquired the operational and production-focused geothermal activities of Sproule ERCE. These activities are being integrated with WEP’s existing operations within their Geothermal Service Team (GST). The services include continuous production data analysis, well maintenance and repair, and Well Integrity Management Systems. The integration enhances efficient and effective service delivery.
This transaction reflects the divestment of only the geothermal operations component of Sproule ERCE’s geothermal business in the Netherlands and Belgium. Sproule ERCE will continue to assertively grow its Geothermal Advisory services within the burgeoning global geothermal market, with offerings that include technical and commercial advisory services, resource assessments, development strategy, along with lender and investment advisory services, including technical due diligence and fair market valuations.
Sproule-ERCE empowers energy companies and financial stakeholders to make confident, strategic decisions. Sproule-ERCE delivers authoritative technical, commercial, and operational analysis that unlock value, manage risk, and drive sustainable, long-term profitability within an evolving energy system.
Well Engineering Partners (WEP) provides well and drilling engineering services worldwide to the oil, gas, salt and geothermal industries. WEP delivers technical expertise, engineering, materials and services procurement and on-site supervision across the full life cycle of a well.
