Project Description

WEP worked together with DrillTec, Enconsol, INCO drilling, Akros, Rollman, GeoService, NOV, Odfjell Well Services, Fangmann, Deep Drill, Iteco, HP Well Screen and Titan to successfully deliver five new wells to Hoogweg Aardwarmte B.V.

In just over five months, five wells have been delivered with the VarioRig. Three smaller-sized injection wells, and two larger-sized production wells. All wells were delivered in three sections (excluding stovepipe/conductor)

What remains is to test the wells as well as to install some of the final completion hardware. This is planned to be executed “lean” (meaning without a drilling rig) upcoming summer. The objective for Hoogweg is to have the new wells ready to be exploited before the start of autumn.

Key words: WBM only, PDM only, under reaming, XLOT, multi-skidding operations, extended flowline
