Project Description
The objective of this project was to adjust the depths of the inner- and outer leaching strings of Dow’s cavern well K-22 and K-30.
For K-22 the inner string was pulled out of hole for 173m, the outer leaching string was shortened at the predetermined depth by performing a wireline split shot whereafter the inner string was lowered back to its new depth injection/production depth.
For K-30 the inner leaching string was completely pulled out of hole to cut off the damaged tubing end. The string was run back in hole to guide the wireline operations to shorten the outer leaching string with a split shot at the predetermined depth whereafter the inner string was run in to its new depth injection/production depth. All objectives were met.
